Panasonic TC-P50G10 vs Panasonic TC-P50S1

Filed under: Panasonic Player Articles — paramoz @ 2:15 am

pChoosing the right HDTV is not an easy task, especially with many models to choose from. One way of narrowing down your choices, though, is by selecting a brand then comparing two of the best models of that brand, like the b Panasonic/b TC-P50G10 and the b Panasonic/b TC-P50S1./ppLet’s start by comparing the design of the b Panasonic/b TC-P50G10 and the b Panasonic/b TC-P50S1. Both have impressive glossy black frames with fashionable hidden speakers a silver strip at the bottom. What sets them apart, though, is that the TC-P50S1 has more rounded edges while the TC-P50G10 has a fading silver tinge below the strip and a thinner frame. In fact, you will find few Plasma televisions with a thicker frame than the TC-P50G10. They both have glossy black stands that still don’t swivel, but the TC-P50G10 comes with one that’s round instead of the usual rectangular one./ppWhen it comes to picture quality, the TC-P50G10 and the TC-P50S1 have the same basic strengths and weaknesses, namely the ability to create outstandingly deep black levels combined with excellent shadow detail and the lack in color accuracy, respectively. The TC-P50G10 has a THX mode, though, which gives it an edge over the TC-P50S1. In this mode, TC-P50G10 displays even better images, with better shadow detail and increased color accuracy, allowing it to better recreate the movie theatre experience./ppNext, let’s take a closer look at the connectivity options. Both the TC-P50G10 and the TC-P50G10 do well in this aspect, offering three HDMI inputs and a SD card slot which allows you to share your digital photos via the Viera Image Viewer feature. The TC-P50G10 has more to offer, though, with a VGA input where you can plug in your computer, an analog audio output and an ethernet port to facilitate the Viera Cast feature./ppThe b Panasonic/b TC-P50G10 and the b Panasonic/b TC-P50S1 are also packed with many great features. Both HDTV models have the Viera Link, which, similar to the Bravia Sync of Sony HDTVs, allows you to turn all your compatible devices on and off with the push of a single button. These devices include your DVD recorder, Blu-Ray b player/b, HD camcorder and even your surround sound speakers. Both models also come with a game mode and an anti-reflective filter, as well as features to prevent and treat screen burn-in, which is one of the most common problems with Plasma televisions./ppOne feature which sets the TC-P50G10 apart from the TC-P50S1 and previous HDTV models, though, is the Viera Cast mentioned earlier. This feature allows you to enjoy online content such as YouTube videos, Picasa web albums and Amazon Video on Demand, and other important information such as the latest stock market trends and weather reports, on a user-friendly web interface built into your HDTV. This means that you don’t need to have a computer to access all these. However, you will need an active internet connection and an ethernet line./ppIn terms of energy consumption, both HDTV models consume less energy than many Plasma televisions, particularly since they have a new type of Plasma panel called the NEO PDP panel. The TC-P50S1, in particular, qualifies for an Energy Star 3.0 rating with its relatively dim default picture setting. In spite of this, though, both models are still far from being as energy efficient as LCD televisions./ppOther similarities include simple on-screen menus, though the p a href=http://gpsmounting.blog.com/ rel=dofollow title=Gps MountingGps Mounting/a a href=http://gpsprices.istoreblog.com/ rel=dofollow title=Gps PricesGps Prices/a /p

Four Tips for Great sports photography

Filed under: Panasonic Player Articles — paramoz @ 9:14 pm

pSports photography is a large topic, and would require extensive review to truly do it justice here. However, a brief overview of how to get the best sports shots can be found in these four handy tips. Grab your camera and get ready for some sport, as I’m going to show you how to get those shots that the newspapers love!/ppstrong1. Don’t forget that camera!/strong
brI often find that film cameras are the best for sports photography. Obviously, sports photographs are action shots, meaning that you’ll need to have good reflexes to snap that once-in-a-lifetime shot. I recommend film cameras because digital cameras often experience what is called shutter lag, or the time between you pressing the button and your camera taking the image. For ‘happy snaps’ (vacation shots, etc.), this does not matter, as your subject will usually stand stationary for longer than the period of shutter lag. However, in sports photography, quick timing is everything. Point and shoot cameras usually have the longest shutter lag (the Nikon Coolpix L3 with 1.8s) and rangefinder cameras have the least shutter lag out of digital cameras (the Leica M9 takes 0.08s to take an image). However, the shutter lag for film cameras is insignificant./ppGenerally, the greater the lens focal length, the wider your shot will be. This is a consideration in sports photography, as soccer and football pitches can often require great lens focal length./ppstrong2. Avoid background noise/strong
brTake a look at any good sports photograph, and you will notice that the background noise has been reduced. A shot on the far side of a field will often feature spectators, advertisements and other distractions which can wreck your brilliant shot. If it is not possible to distinguish the subject of your shot from the background, the shot might not be worth using. Remember though, if you have no other option, this may be your only choice./ppstrong3. Placing your shot – rules to keep in mind/strong
brThe rule of faces: A subject’s facial expression can make or break a shot. If you plan on selling your sports photographs, keep in mind that many editors want to be able to see the emotion on the sportsperson’s face – that is, a photo covering a play from behind may be passed up in favor of one covering the same play from in front, showing the b player/b’s face. If it’s not possible to get a shot of a b player/b’s face, a ‘back of head’ shot may be your only option, but be prepared for rejection by some leading photo editors./ppThe rule of thirds: Centering the subject of a photo can often be useful, but many photographers live by the ‘rule of thirds’, which dictates that important compositional elements of a photograph should be placed on one of the intersections between imaginary vertical and horizontal lines dividing the photograph into thirds. Advocates of the rule of thirds argue that this technique creates more energy in the photo than a centered shot./ppstrong4. Blurring is good/strong
brBudding photographers are nearly always instructed to minimize the blur in their photographs. In non-action photography, blur can be a bad thing. There’s nothing worse than getting your photographs back from developing, only to find that the subject of the photograph is indistinguishable from the background due to blur. However, in action photography, blur can be good, as it implies movement. When you see a soccer ball Glide through the air, the eye does not capture the image as always, so should not your photos. Some practices use different shutter speeds to blur the most. This could make or break your shot. /pp Do you have it. Four Tips to get the best sports photos as possible. If this is not possible to act, why not win a photograph? /pp a href=http://gpsprices.istoreblog.com/ rel=dofollow title=Gps PricesGps Prices/a /p
